Making Moves: B-Boy InTact

In the Breakin’ scene there are those who dance and then there are those who make an impact.
Through the years they have shown their dedication to this art form by either educating the
next generation, producing an event, creating a business that caters to what we need or investing
in the many airline, train and bus tickets it takes to be able to make a name for themselves around
the globe; sometimes all of the above and then some. Each week I will highlight a member of our
community who is doing just so, MAKING MOVES. If you have a B- Boy, B - Girl or Crew in
mind that are MAKING MOVES, please feel free to leave their name and reason why they should

How is B- Boy InTact MAKING MOVES??
Hailing out of Kiev, Ukraine B –boy InTact and Ruffneck Attack Crew can be accredited
with bringing some of the very first Funk and Hip Hop parties to the Ukrainian scene back
in 2008. Those events gave birth to a community no longer only concerned with the formalities
of organized battles but also with the true environment of our art form; the social dance. From
those events Funk and Furious Clothing began: clothing with a simple style that brings the
element of knowledge and the history of Funk and Hip Hop to the people.
With the 15-year anniversary of Ruffneck Attack Crew approaching in 2015, B –Boy InTact
continues to stay busy by competing, judging and conducting workshops all over the world.
He continues to show his very own interpretation of the music with intricate footwork patterns
combined with bursts of powerful tricks and transitions all executed with soul and a visible
individual flare. B –Boy InTact is most definitely a vital part of his local community and the
Breakin’ scene as a whole; preserving its originality while helping it to evolve. Who’s to say
what is next from this soulful Ukrainian MAKING MOVES? The future looks promising for
B –Boy InTact, Ruffneck Attack Crew and Funk and Furious Crew alike.
